Caffeinate is a lightweight and easy-to-use Android utility designed to keep your device's screen awake as needed. It integrates directly into your Quick Settings for Android Nougat (7.0) and newer, enabling a seamless toggle to prevent screen timeout.

By default, activating Caffeinate keeps your screen on for five minutes, but you can extend this duration by tapping the tile or adjusting it within the app settings. It behaves similarly to the caffeine functions in CyanogenMod and LineageOS, allowing for greater control during tasks that require uninterrupted screen time.

The extension posts a persistent notification while active to prevent service interruptions, with options to customize notifications and app launcher visibility. Note that Samsung devices with OneUI are currently unsupported due to aggressive battery optimization conflicts. Caffeinate also leverages Firebase for crash reporting, analytics, and remote configurations to improve user experience.

Although the extension is on hiatus currently, it welcomes community contributions for translations and development.
