Packing Puzzles gathers a whole shelf of classic block, tile, and packing games around one simple idea: fit shapes together so they fill a board with no gaps and no overlaps. Its centerpiece is Huarong Dao (华容道), the famous Chinese sliding-block escape puzzle known around the world as Klotski. You slide the ten blocks aside until the big one — the trapped general Cao Cao — can slip out through the gate. All 32 traditional openings are here, from 28 to 138 steps, each with its story and its minimum step count, including the celebrated 横刀立马 that solves in exactly 81 moves.

Around it sits a full board of favorites. The N-Puzzles scramble numbered tiles to slide back into order — the classic 15 Puzzle and its bigger cousins. Polyominoes packs pentominoes and other shapes until the board is solid. Mosaic reassembles a cut-up picture or matches colored edges. More Klotski-style sets work a target block through gaps and doorways, Gridlock is a traffic-jam puzzle where you unblock the red car and drive it out, and Slide In has you stage each piece in a loading zone and slide it into place. For endless play there is Falling Blocks and other stackers, Number Merge with its Fibonacci and three-based tile modes, and Place & Clear, which clears full rows, columns, and boxes.

And now the whole shelf extends onto the triangle. A new set of puzzles plays on the triangular lattice, where the pieces are triangles and the boards are hexagons and six-pointed stars. Blocks tumble over their edges in Slide Out, six small triangles fuse into a hexagon in Hexa Merge, MacMahon Triangles matches colored edges across a classic set of four-colored tiles, and Polyiamonds pack triangular pieces with no gaps. The N-Puzzles scramble onto hexagonal boards, Tri Drop sends pieces falling down the lattice, and picture mosaics rebuild famous paintings tile by tiny tile.

You play by dragging pieces straight onto the board — rotating and flipping them to fit — or tapping a tile to slide it. Every game runs on the same careful engine, so each move is checked and a finished board is always correct: no almost-fits, no rounding surprises. The sliding puzzles count your steps and remember your personal best, and a built-in solver can hint the best next move — in Huarong Dao, Klotski, and Gridlock the hint follows a genuinely shortest solution, and it can even play the whole solve out for you.

Boards range from gentle starters to real challenges, with several sizes for each game. The app marks what you have solved, and lets you resume a half-finished board or save it for later. Every game carries a short guide — where it comes from, how to play it, and a taste of the math behind it. You can change the look, too: besides light and dark themes, the settings gear offers three wood finishes — Golden Oak, Mahogany, and Walnut — that carry through the whole app, menus and dialogs included, and set each board into the grain like a window. It is a relaxed, hands-on way to enjoy spatial puzzles, sharpen your planning, and explore the simple math of how shapes fit together.
