[/edit] *** I tried all the easy-to-find ff-themes in light colours - grey - silver - brushed - chrome - osx - you know the deal if you are on the hunt for something special like me - & this is the one I finally found & the one that works the best - minimal resources & the best (30+ dedicated mins) on this site IMHO. *** [edit/] Xubuntu Gray - this ff-theme is more-than-okay & I dig I'm one of the early adopters of this fine rendering by Dragon6902 who I hope continues his ff/linux style artwork. If like me you are tired of dark system themes and looking for a light ff-theme to go with a light system one using Xubuntu or the XFCE4 linux desktop environment, look no further. No excessive textures, clear delineation lines & super clear font rendering. Say no more. XFCE4/Xubuntu runs lean & fast (<500MB RAM fully loaded!) & can look great when themed correctly. Take my advice and go Xubuntu Gray (cause Grey is just...)..! Make some more Dragon6902. Match the 'Prof-XFCE-2.0/2.1' (the only super great out-of-the-box GTK/XFCE/XFWM offering as far as 'light' versions out there) theme if you need a project :) ... Looking forward to seeing what you will do, Dragog69-oh-2. Your new fan, mez'acola :) ...
