User Reviews

Users like the add-on’s visual design (dark theme) and its selector/search features plus the context‑menu workflow. Repeated complaints: it often fails to auto-detect or render XML (especially for non-.xml URLs or local files), sometimes shows blank pages or false XML errors, and frequently requires manual selection/use of the context menu to process content.
Pros
  • Attractive, well-designed UI with a dark theme (multiple users praised appearance)
  • Built-in selector/search features (CSS/jQuery/regex) that users find useful
  • Provides a scoped/context-menu option to send content to the viewer (manual processing workflow)
Cons
  • Does not reliably auto-detect or display XML on many URLs (fails for resources not ending in .xml, different extensions, or file://)
  • Shows plain/blank pages or reports valid XML as invalid for some files/URLs
  • Often requires manual selection/send via the context menu to process XML (limited or partial automatic processing)

When opening a link that contains XML, it shows the same thing as without the plugin — just plain text. I tried calling it from the context menu, but got an error saying the XML is invalid… even though it’s not.
