Elements is a fast, minimal head-to-head board game built around four elemental cards: Fire, Wind, Thunder, and Water. Read the matchups, make one clever swap each round, and outsmart your opponent before time runs out.

■ Simple rules, deep mind games
The four elements beat each other in a cycle — like rock-paper-scissors:

Fire → Wind → Thunder → Water → Fire

Each element beats the next one in the cycle. Matching elements — and opposite pairs (Fire vs Thunder, Wind vs Water) — end in a draw. Every matchup comes from this single rule, so it takes seconds to learn and games to master.

■ How to play
- Each player has a row of 3 cards on the field, plus 1 card in hand.
- The three facing cards clash head-to-head. Win a lane to score; win all three for a bonus.
- There are no turns. Both players choose a move in secret at the same time, then reveal together.
- On your move, you may do exactly one of the following:
1. Swap the position of two of your own field cards
2. Swap one field card with the card in your hand
3. Pass (do nothing)
- You have a time limit (30 seconds by default). Don't decide in time, and it counts as a pass.
- Matches run over several rounds (5 by default). The higher total score wins.

■ Game modes
- Local (pass-and-play): Two players share one device. Moves are entered one after another so your choice stays hidden, then resolved together.
- vs CPU: Play solo against the computer. Choose the difficulty before you start.
- Online: Match up with another player and duel in real time.
