User Reviews

Users praise UrzaGatherer for its comprehensive MTG collection management, cross-platform accessibility, and advanced deck-building tools. However, recurring issues include data loss after updates, lagging mobile updates compared to desktop, synchronization problems, app instability, and inefficiencies in card scanning. Developer support is recognized as responsive, but reliability challenges, especially on mobile, frustrate users who otherwise find the app very useful for organizing their collections.

Pros

Excellent card collection management and logging features for MTG.
Availability of both Android and desktop/web versions allowing cross-platform use.
Advanced search, deck building, and filtering options enhance deck creation and collection tracking.
Active development and responsive support from the developer with timely fixes for issues.
Ability to backup and export collection data, albeit with some user caution advised.

Cons

Recent updates have caused serious issues including complete loss of entire card collections without warning.
Mobile app often lags behind desktop versions in updates, missing newer card sets, affecting usability.
Syncing between mobile and desktop versions is unreliable, sometimes requiring re-login or re-connection to cloud services.
App crashes, freezes, or gets stuck during loading or after price updates, affecting reliability.
Card scanner feature is slow or ineffective on some devices, limiting ease of inputting cards.

Recent reviews

Loved this app until the most recent update. My entire inventory of cards was wiped out- every single set went back to 0 cards. Deleted the app.

Honestly I believe this is the best deck building app out there but the biggest issue holding back is that the mobile app is MONTHS behind the desktop app. It's two set behind right now and that's a little frustrating
