User Reviews

Users appreciate the app's free trial period, kind professionals, and useful mental health resources. However, common issues include sign-up problems, unexpected subscription fees, limited payment methods, and inconsistent therapist engagement. Privacy requirements like mandatory emergency contacts cause discomfort for some. Overall, the app shows potential but needs improvements in transparency, customer support, and professional interaction quality.
Pros
  • Offers free therapy chat with therapists for at least a month, providing value especially for students or those who cannot afford traditional therapy.
  • Therapists and mental health professionals are kindhearted, helpful, and provide good advice, making users feel understood.
  • Includes useful features like mood trackers and reading materials about mental health, helping users learn more and manage emotions.
  • Provides convenience for users who prefer texting over talking, allowing easier expression of thoughts and feelings.
  • App is generally easy to navigate with additional resources like self-help books and advice from professionals.
Cons
  • Issues with signing up, including password requirements and technical problems such as automatic code input errors making registration frustrating.
  • Hidden subscription fees and lack of transparency about charges when signing up cause users to feel misled; customer service is also slow or unresponsive.
  • Therapists sometimes do not respond timely, initiate conversations, or follow action plans, leading to dissatisfaction and feelings that the service is unprofessional or shallow.
  • Requirement to provide emergency contact information deters some users from seeking help due to privacy concerns.
  • Limitations in payment options make subscription difficult for users without credit or debit cards.
Recent reviews
100% chance of the professional allocated being different from the one being selected across multiple tries. Looks like baiting and illusion of choice. No proper structure to sessions, and professionals seem unsure as to what to do next since there is no action plan being put forward from first few contacts. [UPDATE: After months of using this app, my conclusion is that it is shallow, the articles, the professionals and advice, self-help books and AI Pi Chat is better]

The app was okay, not good but not bad either. Considering its a free therapy chatting with therapist for atleast a month, i think it was a good deal. Could be improve though, cause i really see the potential on this app for students or people who dont have enough money to afford therapy.
