WebSerial API Polyfill for Mozilla Firefox browser

Features & Capabilities

WebSerial for Firefox is a polyfill that lets you use the Web Serial API in Mozilla Firefox by pairing the browser with a native host application. It provides cross-platform support (Windows, Linux, macOS) and automatically prompts to install the native component when you first open a serial port.

The add-on is open source and ships binaries built with GitHub Actions. For installation instructions and the source repository, see the project page and the GitHub links, and consider supporting the project via Ko-fi.

Essential if you want to update USB devices over a website. (You need to install an additional app form this dev to work!)

Hi, very cool, ok with my win10. Just a lake: I can't execute my script with local url like file:///C:/htdocs/arduino_web_controller.html (ok with Chrome, Edge).
