WebRoom turns every webpage into a small real-time room.

When multiple people are browsing the same webpage, WebRoom lets them discover each other and communicate without leaving the page.

💬 Chat in real time Open the WebRoom panel and exchange text messages with other people currently in the same room.

🌐 Every webpage is a room The current webpage determines the room. Visit another page and you're automatically in a different room.

🐸 Anonymous by default No account, username, or profile setup is required. WebRoom uses a randomly assigned emoji as a temporary identity for each participant.

⚡ Lightweight and non-intrusive WebRoom stays as a small floating interface on the page and doesn't require you to open another website or application.

WebRoom is designed as a decentralized real-time layer for the web. There is no WebRoom account system, centralized chat database, or traditional social network.

The goal is simple:

The webpage is the room. The people on that page are the participants.

WebRoom is currently focused on real-time presence and text chat, with more peer-to-peer communication capabilities planned for the future.
