User Reviews

Users praise effective Yahoo Mail ad blocking and the developer’s prompt updates, with broad positive sentiment and cross‑browser support. However, reliability on Yahoo Mail is mixed, with ads reappearing after changes or the extension failing at times. Some raise privacy concerns, note redundancy with other blockers, or report regional availability issues.
Pros
  • Effectively blocks Yahoo Mail ads when it works
  • Developer is responsive and pushes quick updates to fix ad-blocking
  • Works across browsers (Firefox and Chrome)
  • Very useful and positive user sentiment
  • Recent fixes have restored Yahoo Mail blocking after changes
Cons
  • Yahoo Mail blocking is not consistently reliable; ads can reappear after Yahoo changes
  • Some reviews report that it no longer works for Yahoo Mail
  • Privacy concerns about the extension potentially accessing sensitive email data
  • Potential redundancy if you already use another ad blocker (e.g., UBlock Origin)
  • Availability/download access issues in certain regions (e.g., China)
Recent reviews
(Mr. Savard sincere thanks for your update fixing the YMail Contacts issue.) Excellent extension as usual by the excellent developer!

I've tried multiple ad blockers to remove all the annoying ads in Yahoo Mail, and this is the only one that removes all of them. And every time Yahoo makes a change that causes the ads to reappear, the Developer quickly issues an update to the extension that removes the ads again. And he's very responsive to questions and comments! And the Chrome version works as well.
