🔒 WHAT PRIVACY ACTUALLY MEANS HERE
• The camera image is decoded on the phone. Frames are never stored and never uploaded.
• Scan history lives in a database on your device. It is not synced anywhere.
• The one exception is spelled out on screen: if you set up your own lookup URL, opening a code sends it to the site YOU chose, and the app warns you before it does.

🧭 WHEN A CODE WON'T SCAN, IT TELLS YOU WHY
This is the second biggest complaint in the category and no app answers it. Scan for a few seconds with nothing happening and a line appears telling you what the camera is actually seeing:
• Too dark to read — tap the message and the flash comes on
• Too much glare — tilt the phone away from the light
• Nothing sharp in frame — move closer or hold still
• Still nothing — for a 1D barcode, turn the phone so the bars run across the screen
It measures brightness and contrast on the phone, on one frame in eight. No frame is kept.

• See the complete URL — not a shortened preview — before anything opens
• Warnings for look-alike domains, punycode tricks and known shorteners
• Mark a domain trusted or blocked and the app remembers your call

📋 SCAN, THEN ACTUALLY USE IT
• QR Code, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, ITF, Codabar, Data Matrix, Aztec, PDF417
• Wi-Fi codes: connect with one tap, no retyping the password
• Contacts, calendar events, email, SMS, phone numbers, locations — each opens the right app
• Vietnamese VietQR payment codes are parsed and shown in full
• Scan from a photo in your gallery, or from a code you copied to the clipboard
• Batch mode counts as you go, for stock-taking runs
• Flashlight, pinch to zoom, and a quick settings tile to start scanning from anywhere

🗂️ HISTORY THAT EARNS ITS KEEP
• Every scan saved on the device, searchable by content, format or your own note
• Add a note to any entry — "shelf A3", "checked", a name, a price
• Favourites pin to the top; multi-select to delete or share several at once
• Export to CSV (with the notes) and open it in any spreadsheet
• Set your own lookup URL to send a code to your own inventory system

NOTES
• Needs Android 5.0 or newer and a rear camera.
• Anonymous crash reporting is OFF by default. If you turn it on, it sends the KIND of action only — never the content of a code.
