It reads the files your phone's built-in player gives up on - MKV from a download, AVI from an old hard drive, WMV from a work laptop, FLV, TS, MOV, 3GP - and plays them straight away. Nothing to convert, no codec pack, no account.

PLAYS EVERY FORMAT
Hardware and software decoders run side by side, so an unusual codec falls back instead of failing. MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, WMV, FLV, TS, M2TS, WEBM, M4V, MPG, MPEG, VOB, RMVB, OGV, DIVX and more, up to 4K.

SUBTITLES THAT ACTUALLY WORK
Open SRT, ASS, SSA, SUB and VTT files, or the subtitle tracks already inside the video. Change the size, the colour and where the text sits, and nudge the timing when a subtitle file runs early or late.

GESTURES AND SPEED
Swipe on the left for brightness, on the right for volume, drag across to seek. Double-tap to jump, long-press to fast-forward, lock the screen mid-movie. Playback runs from 0.25x to 8x for lectures, tutorials and slow-motion.

PICTURE-IN-PICTURE AND BACKGROUND PLAY
Shrink a video into a floating window and keep it running while you use another app, or turn the screen off and keep only the audio - handy for long talks and music videos.

A PRIVATE VAULT
