### Proactive Call Control with CallGuard

Do you want to limit unwanted calls and decide which phone numbers are allowed to contact you?

CallGuard helps you manage calls in a way that suits your needs. With block lists, custom prefix filters, blocking numbers outside your contacts, and a trusted number list, you can set the level of protection you want.

### 🛡️ 3 Flexible Blocking Modes

1. Block Spam Only

Focuses on the numbers you proactively block and the existing risk assessment system. This mode does not apply prefix-based blocking rules, allowing you to manage blocking methods separately.

**2. 3. Block by Prefix

Create your own list of prefixes you don't want to receive calls from. You can actively add, adjust, or delete rules as needed.

CallGuard does not automatically add default blocked prefixes. The blocking list and rules are under your control.

3. Block Numbers Not in Your Contacts

Restrict calls from numbers not saved in your phone's contact list. This mode requires Contacts access to check contacts on your device.

Choose the mode that best suits your phone usage. If you frequently receive calls from clients, partners, or new numbers, consider carefully before enabling the blocking of numbers not in your contact list.

Trusted numbers are prioritized according to the app's rules, including exceptions to the number blocking rule and the blocking of numbers outside your contacts.

### 🔒 Privacy and Access Permissions

CallGuard only requests Contacts permission when you choose to enable the blocking of numbers outside your contacts. This permission is used to check if a phone number is in your device's contact list.

You should review the requested permissions before granting them and only enable features that suit your needs.

### 📱 Getting Started

1. Open CallGuard and set up the appropriate blocking mode.

2. Add the numbers or prefixes you want to block.

3. Mark important contacts in the trusted list.

4. Complete the permissions and set up the call screening required by Android to activate the protection feature.
