General What is this? A tool that extracts transcripts from YouTube and Vimeo for summaries and Q&A. It saves you from sitting through engagement-bait videos.

Why this extension? I wanted my time back. The internet is full of 10-minute videos that should be 30-second reads.

Why Gemini and not OpenAI? Google's free tier is bigger. It's the path of least resistance for both of us.

Do you see my API keys? No. I have better things to do than steal your free tier limits. Stored locally.

Should i be worried about my privacy and this extension collection data? I don't collect your data. Everything runs locally. You should be more worried about the sites you're visiting.

What if Google stores my data? They already do; you're on YouTube. At least this way you get a summary out of it.

What happens if Google starts charging for the API? Then you pay them or stop using it. I'm not footing the bill.

Is this free? The extension is free. It uses free API tiers.
