UserAtlas Firefox

UserAtlas

Capture selected webpage context as evidence and sync it into the UserAtlas demo workspace.

Features & Capabilities

UserAtlas helps you collect evidence from the web and turn it into structured ideas.

Save posts, comments, messages, and other text snippets from supported sites directly into your local UserAtlas workspace. Organize evidence with tags, search across everything you’ve saved, and connect multiple pieces of evidence to the ideas they support.

What you can do with UserAtlas:

  • Save evidence from supported websites with a press-and-hold action
  • Capture posts, comments, and conversations as reusable evidence
  • Tag and search evidence later inside the UserAtlas app
  • Build ideas by linking together multiple evidence snippets
  • Keep your state in the browser with export and import support
UserAtlas is built for early-stage research, customer discovery, and idea development. Instead of losing useful fragments across tabs, chats, and feeds, you can keep them in one place and organize them into emerging patterns.

Current supported sources include:

  • Reddit
  • X
  • Discord
  • Slack
Data handling:
  • UserAtlas stores evidence locally in your browser
  • You can export your state as JSON and import it later
  • The extension is designed to work with the UserAtlas web app at useratlas.io

Is UserAtlas Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

UserAtlas requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
