UsableHomeButton is a powerful Chrome extension designed to enhance your browsing efficiency. With a simple click or the Alt+H hotkey, it opens the home page (domain root) of the current website, saving you time navigating from deep pages back to the main site. The extension’s customizable options let you open a handy menu instead, providing a list of parent URL segments for quick navigation.

Additionally, the toolbar menu includes useful features like removing query strings or anchors from URLs, accessing canonical and minimal URLs, searching the Internet Archive, copying page details, opening pages in private windows, and managing browsing history with forget/delete options. Especially useful for Firefox users (version 72+), it supports opening sites in new tabs or windows with Ctrl or Shift keys. Note that some features may not be fully supported on Firefox for Android.
