I probably tried all the available OTP Firefox extensions available. Initially, I searched for TOTP but uOTP didn't show up in the search results. After searching for OTP I found this great extension. All the other OTP extensions I tried did not suit my basic need of a simple OTP manager.
uOTP works great, amazingly small size (42kb), small footprint, open source code project, very simple and looks great. It does what its suppose to without unnecessary GUI bloat.
Hopefully the developer continues to maintain this extension as I intend to use it for years to come.

Is uOTP Safe?
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
uOTP requires very minimum permissions.
Risk impact analysis details
- High Allows reading and modifying clipboard content, which can be sensitive, posing a moderate privacy risk.
