Terrace Empire '85

Game available in English only.

YOUR CLUB. YOUR LEGACY.

It's 1985. The terraces are packed, the pitch is muddy, and your club has big dreams on a small budget. Pick the team. Balance the books. Build something worth singing about.

Terrace Empire '85 is a retro football management game that puts you in charge on the touchline and behind the scenes. Start in non-league football and fight your way towards the top flight, cup glory and European nights. Can you turn a struggling club into a football empire?

FOUR DECADES. ONE FOOTBALL STORY.
Lead a career spanning up to 42 seasons, from 1985/86 to 2026/27, in a persistent world of 144 clubs. Football changes around you: league structures, competition formats, transfer rules and the money in the game evolve as the decades roll on. Adapt your club to survive the changes and seize your moment.

BUILD THE SQUAD
Find the players your club needs. Buy, sell and loan, manage contracts, develop your squad and make the difficult calls when injuries, fatigue and suspensions hit. Put together a team that can handle a long season, not just one big match.

MAKE THE MATCH-DAY CALLS
Choose your line-up, set your formation and react from the touchline. Follow the match, use your substitutions and change your approach when the game turns. Chase a late winner or protect a precious away point: the decisions are yours.

BUILD MORE THAN A TEAM
Develop your ground, improve facilities and grow the business behind the badge. Weigh up sponsorship offers, control wages and decide where the next pound should go. A new signing might win Saturday's match. A better ground could help shape the next decade.

WRITE YOUR OWN FOOTBALL HISTORY
Promotion battles. Relegation scraps. Cup upsets. Rivalries. The satisfaction of seeing a player become a club favourite. Stay and build your legacy, or consider a new challenge when another club comes calling.

CLASSIC MANAGEMENT SPIRIT
Colourful pixel art, retro screens and era-inspired music bring the world to life. Built for the feeling that made classic management games so hard to put down: just one more match.

PLAY THE FULL CAREER WITHOUT A PURCHASE
The complete career from 1985/86 to 2026/27 is playable without buying anything. The game contains ads and optional in-app purchases.

Optional extras include Cash Injection, The Marquee Signing and Remove Ads. Remove Ads removes forced adverts; optional rewarded adverts remain your choice.

The 2000's and 2010's era unlocks let you start a NEW career in 2000/01 or 2010/11. They do not move your existing career forward, and you do not need them to reach those years through normal play. After purchasing an era unlock, start a new game and select that era.

The first whistle is waiting. What will your club become?
