GuardTour — Studio Security

GuardTour is a professional security guard tour management app built for large film studio campuses and production facilities. Designed to give security teams a fast, reliable way to complete and document their patrols — with a full digital report delivered automatically at the end of every tour.

HOW IT WORKS

Tap NFC tags mounted at checkpoints across the site to log each waypoint as you walk your patrol. Your location is captured automatically at every stop, building a GPS-tracked route in real time. Add written notes or take photos at any point to document incidents, hazards, or anything that needs attention. When the tour is complete, a detailed report is emailed directly to your security operations centre.

KEY FEATURES

Live Route Map — View your patrol route on an interactive map as you walk it. Each waypoint is plotted and connected in order, so supervisors and guards can see exactly where the tour has been. Tap any waypoint marker to see its details; tap a photo note marker to view the image.

Photo & Text Incident Notes — Spot something that needs reporting? Add a photo note or written note on the spot. Everything is timestamped, geotagged, and included in the report.

NFC Checkpoint Scanning — Simply tap your phone to NFC tags installed at each patrol point. No codes to type, no buttons to press. GuardTour logs the tag, timestamp, and GPS coordinates instantly.

Automatic Email Reports — At the end of each tour, GuardTour generates a professional HTML report and sends it to your designated security email address. The report includes every waypoint in order, timestamps, GPS coordinates, a satellite map image of the tour route, and any photos or incident notes.

Built for Studios — Designed specifically for large-scale campuses with multiple buildings, lots, gates, and access points. Whether you're covering a single stage block or an entire backlot, GuardTour scales to your patrol.

REQUIREMENTS

• Android 10 or above
• NFC hardware (required for checkpoint scanning)
• Location permission for GPS tagging
• Internet connection for report delivery

GETTING STARTED

1. Install NFC tags at each checkpoint around your site
2. Open GuardTour and enter your report email address in Settings
3. Press Start Tour and begin your patrol
4. Tap each NFC tag as you arrive at a checkpoint
5. Add notes or photos wherever needed
6. Press End Tour to submit the completed report
