SMS Redirect

SMS Redirect forwards incoming text messages from your Android device to any email inbox through your own SMTP mailbox.

Key Features:

• Automatic SMS Forwarding — Receive an SMS and it is immediately queued for email delivery, even when the app is closed or the screen is locked.

• Verification Code Forwarding — Optionally captures verification codes from message notifications (including RCS) and forwards them to your email. Never miss a one-time code again.

• Secure by Design — All SMTP credentials are stored in Android Keystore-backed encrypted storage. SSL/TLS and STARTTLS encryption are enforced; plaintext SMTP is blocked.

• Reliable Delivery — Uses Android WorkManager with network-connected constraints and exponential backoff retries. Messages are queued and delivered as soon as connectivity is available.

• Full SMTP Control — Configure your own SMTP server, port, encryption mode, sender address, and destination. Works with Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, custom mail servers, and any SMTP-compatible provider.

• Privacy First — Your messages are sent directly from your device to your mail server. No third-party cloud services process your SMS content.

• Multi-Language Support — Available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, and Russian. Switch languages directly from within the app.

How It Works:

1. Enter your SMTP server details (host, port, credentials).
2. Choose SSL/TLS or STARTTLS encryption.
3. Set the sender and destination email addresses.
4. Grant SMS permission and enable forwarding.
5. Every incoming SMS is automatically forwarded to your email.

For RCS verification codes, enable notification forwarding and grant Notification Access. The app listens to known messaging apps and only forwards notifications that contain verification codes.
