Twitter Private Mode Firefox

Twitter Private Mode

Can show a fake name in place of your name and @ on Twitter.com so lookers-on can't stalk your tweets. Allows you to select a random name and @ each day from a list you make.

Features & Capabilities

Creates a popup that allows you to enter your Twitter name and @ so that the addon can hide it on twitter.com domains. It allows you to provide a list of possible names which will be substituted for both separately. There are fields to enter a number for the name and @ which will be multiplied by the number of days since the Unix epoch and used to choose a name from the list. Included are buttons which generate these numbers such that a different name and @ is chosen each day.

Note that this addon does not affect any Twitter functionality, it just affects how the website shows up on your computer.
