InnerBeat-Metronome Assistant

This is a metronome a percussionist built for herself.

The reason is simple: my own internal clock was shaky. The moment I turned the metronome off, my tempo drifted. Most metronome apps just make clicks — very few actually train you to not need them. Every feature in InnerBeat is built around one goal: helping you rely on it less and less.

● Gap Click training
Set how many bars play and how many go silent — for example, 3 bars on, 1 bar off. During silent bars there are no visual cues at all; you count on your own, and the next audible bar tells you instantly whether you kept the time. Random mode makes the silence hit without warning.

● Tap accuracy scoring
Tap along with the beat and see, in real time, how many milliseconds early or late each tap lands, plus running average and consistency stats. Combine it with silent bars and you can literally measure your internal clock — the numbers don't flatter. Built-in touch latency calibration.

● Per-beat subdivisions
1 to 16 beats per bar, and every beat can have its own subdivision, from quarter notes to sextuplets. Each note can be set to strong, medium, weak, or rest. Syncopation, compound meters, weird marching-band figures — you can build them all.

● Change anything mid-practice
Adjust tempo, beats, subdivisions, and sound while it plays — the beat never stops. Everything is remembered for your next session.

● Sound and precision
A sample-accurate native audio engine that won't drift over long sessions. Includes a volume boost option and a ±0.9 BPM fine-tune for syncing with hardware metronomes. Background playback supported.
