At that time, more than 100 representatives from various provinces and cities across the country attended the meeting. After the establishment of the association, all the directors and supervisors had the ambition to fight for the rights and interests of the Chinese medicine community and seek welfare. Unfortunately, the current situation was chaotic, the CCP invaded the south, and the mainland fell in the 38th year of the Republic of China. Most of the directors and supervisors did not retreat to Taiwan with the government, and the All-China Federation of Nations did not take any action, and Taiwan alone could not establish a national people's organization. It has complied with the requirements for the establishment of a national people's organization. Mr. Qin Qin, a former legislator in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, was enthusiastic about Chinese medicine and gathered a master in the medical field. He mobilized donations and sponsorship to prepare for the resumption of the meeting. In August 1964, he applied to the Ministry of the Interior for resumption of the meeting. approved.

However, due to the small number of directors and supervisors elected in mainland China, a by-election must be conducted to form a sound board of directors and supervisors. According to this instruction, the preparatory committee will hold a member representative meeting in Taipei City on October 27, 1964. , immediately elected Mr. Qin Qin as the chairman; Gao Jinwen and Zhang Zhengmao as executive directors; Chen Yu, Chen Cunren, Chen Changfa, Lu Guobian, Zhang Qixian, Zhou Zhifu, Zhuang Guojun, Cai Gongxing as directors; ;Peng Zhurong, Luo Zaitian, and Xiao Qiuling were elected as alternate directors; executive supervisor Mr. Zhao Fengqiao was elected as the original supervisor in mainland China; supervisors Tu Quanfu and Ding Zhongying were both elected in mainland China and were also original directors, and Mr. Wu Mingda was elected as alternate supervisor ; The term of office expires at the end of 1969, and it will be extended to January 9, 1970. The board of directors and supervisors will be re-elected, and the name will be "the second board of directors and supervisors of the first session of the National Federation of Chinese Famous Chinese Physician Associations". During his unexpired term, the board of directors elected executive director Gao Jinwen to replace him first. When the term of office expired in 72 years, the third board of supervisors elected the legislative member Lin Gengshen first. Served for two consecutive terms subject to the limit of one consecutive term of office. In 1978, Zhang Zhengmao was re-elected. The term expired in 1981. In August of the same year, Mr. Wu Shuisheng was elected as the chairman of the board (until October 1987). However, in 1981, the Organic Law of the People's Organizations was amended. All the representatives of the central public opinion and various people's organizations elected in the mainland had their terms of office terminated at the end of 1981. All those who re-elected were renamed the second term.
