TV Tracker Firefox

TV Tracker

Track when your favourite TV shows last aired and when they're on next.

Features & Capabilities

Track when your favourite TV shows last aired and when they're next on.

TV Tracker groups your shows by what's happening now — aired recently, coming up, on hiatus, or finished. Add a show once and it stays up to date automatically.

Features

  • Status Board — shows are grouped into four sections: Aired recently, Coming up, On hiatus, and No upcoming episode. A show can appear in more than one section at the same time.
  • Search — search the TVmaze database to add shows by title.
  • Background refresh — show data updates automatically every four hours.
  • Sort — order tracked shows by title or air date, ascending or descending.
  • Import and export — back up your tracked shows to a JSON file, or restore them on another browser.
  • Remove — remove a show from your list at any time, with a confirmation prompt first.
  • Light and dark mode — switch anytime from Settings. Follows your system preference until you choose one explicitly.
Privacy

No accounts, no tracking. TV Tracker only talks to the TVmaze API to fetch show data — your list stays in your browser.

Is TV Tracker Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

TV Tracker requires very minimum permissions.

Risk likelihood
Risk likelihood measures the probability that a Firefox add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Add-ons Store, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on.

TV Tracker is recently added, and hasn't been around long enough for us to gather enough data to accurately assess its risk level.
