Trojan Space Firefox

Trojan Space

Make Brightspace (D2L) yours: beautiful themes & live backdrops, a smarter course dashboard, due-soon alerts, grades & GPA tools, and a what-if grade simulator. Built by a student for students. Runs only on Brightspace sites and collects nothing.

Features & Capabilities

Trojan Space turns Brightspace into a space you actually want to study in. Themes and live backdrops, a smarter dashboard, due-date alerts, grade tools, and a what-if grade simulator — all local, all private, built by a student for students.

🎨 Make it beautiful — 18 hand-drawn scenes (USC Trojans, SNHU Penmen, Golden Gate, Hollywood, cyberpunk, and more), 12 realistic photo backdrops, or your own image, GIF, or video background. Frosted-glass panels, animated scenes (falling snow, drifting petals, spinning wind turbines), plus full control of dark mode, accents, and the top bar.

📚 Make it smarter — a redesigned dashboard with custom course cards (nicknames, colors, quick Content/Work/Grades buttons, due-count badges), a Due Soon feed with per-course filtering, a Grades & GPA panel with per-assignment breakdowns, course tools with syllabus and module quick-links, and a rearrangeable homepage.

🎯 Know where you stand — a what-if grade simulator inside the gradebook: type predicted points next to any assignment and watch your projected grade update live, using your school's official grading scale (USC and SNHU registrar-verified).

🔒 Private by design — no accounts, no tracking, no servers. Trojan Space only restyles your Brightspace pages and reads your own course data through your existing login. Everything stays in your browser.

*Unofficial student project by Tyrus Viquelia (USC '28). Not affiliated with or endorsed by USC, SNHU, or D2L Corporation. Use at your own risk.

Is Trojan Space Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Trojan Space requires very minimum permissions.
