trmpt Firefox

trmpt

Replace references to Donald Trump on webpages with funny alternatives from a wordlist of close to 1 million possibilities.

Features & Capabilities

trmpt is a browser extension to replace mentions of Donald Trump with funny randomized phrases generated from a wordlist.

Donald John Trump becomes Hissing 'Bunker Boy' Flaky Newt. Simple.

For anyone wanting to customize the behavior, both the search phrases and the wordlists are modifiable as options.

The included wordlist provides close to 1 million possible combinations so each time a page is loaded you're likely the first person to see that specific phrase.

This extension is designed to be as non-intrusive as possible. No tracking. No data sent to server. No glut. No ads. No cookies. Always open source.

Explanation of permissions: 'Access your data for all websites' is needed for the extension to replace instances of the search phrases across all browser tabs.

We need your help in growing this extension. The wordlist will be updated over time based on real users submitting new word options so please submit new options by following the steps at the project's homepage.
