Features & Capabilities

Get the personal shopping assistant that automatically provides you with company ethics and practices while you shop online. Now you’ll know if the products in your cart are helping or hurting the causes you care about.

Personalize Consciously to get brand ratings on the causes most important to you. Choose from: Carbon Neutral Certified, Made in USA, Cruelty-Free, Small Business, Women-Owned Businesses, Black-Owned Businesses, Animal Welfare Certified products or Plant Based foods, with many more to come!

We are proudly partnered with trusted non-profits Climate Neutral for certified Carbon Neutral brands, with ASPCA® Shop With Your Heart for ratings on Animal Welfare and Plant Based foods and Beagle Freedom Project for Cruelty Free products.

How It Works:

  1. Add the Consciously extension to your Chrome browser.
  2. Select your causes.
  3. When you visit a product page on Amazon, a small box appears in the corner of your browser that shares brand ratings and value aligned product recommendations

Information is power, and the power is in your hands. Conscious consumerism (or educated shopping) can influence businesses practices and behaviors. By providing information on company policies and practices, Consciously helps feed ethical consumerism, and you help propel positive change.

We welcome your thoughts and feedback! Feel free to ping us at: info@consciously.us.

Consciously works similarly to Honey and Capital One Shopping. Instead of displaying coupon codes, prices, discounts, deals, and sales, our shopping assistant shares company practices and business ethics.

*************** YOUR PRIVACY IS IMPORTANT TO US ***************

When you add Consciously, you’ll get a message that says we can “read and change all your data on the websites you visit.” This is a notification from your browser that we cannot edit. For Consciously to work, we must read your website (your data), meaning read your Amazon product page so we can identify the name of the product you are viewing in order to share information about that product. Changing the data on your website means that a pop-up appears in the corner of your screen, which is where the company data is shared. We wish we could make this notification less confusing!
