User Reviews

Spoke with you on reddit yesterday about this Extention. I switched from brave to firefox and its working like a charm even with exporting and importing the whole custom settings + bookmarks. Cool. Very cool. 6 stars! (Minus one because its not possible)
by Je*****, 2026-02-17

4 stars just for the permission required otherwise it would be a 5. Why is there a need to modify browser settings while other new tab add-ons don't need that? Update: Changed the review to 5 stars after manually checking the source code.

Is ToolsTab Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

ToolsTab requires very minimum permissions.
