RoboX App

RoboX is a contributor app for collecting first-person video data used to build robotics and machine-learning datasets.

Record real everyday activities from your point of view by following clear campaign instructions. Accepted recordings may be included in future datasets for robotic manipulation, imitation learning, and computer vision.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Create an account and complete the Getting Started flow.
2. Review examples showing how to record useful, high-quality footage.
3. Complete practice recordings for EgoTask and EgoGrasp.
4. Open an available campaign and follow its instructions.
5. Record directly in the app using your phone camera.
6. Submit the recording for automated verification.
7. Receive a verification result and feedback.
8. Earn a monetary reward for accepted main campaign contributions.

EgoTask

Record a complete real-world task from a first-person perspective. Keep your hands, relevant objects, and the full sequence of actions visible.

EgoGrasp

Record genuine hand-object interactions involving different objects, grip types, and everyday contexts.

Each campaign specifies what to record, the required duration, camera orientation, quality standards, and reward amount.

REWARDS AND PAYOUTS

Accepted main campaign recordings earn monetary rewards.

Once the available balance reaches USD 10, contributors can submit a payout request.

Available payout methods may include USDC or USDT sent to a compatible wallet on the Ethereum network. Wise may be displayed as an unavailable option.

Payout requests are manually reviewed by RoboX. Approved payments are processed on Mondays.

Rewards are compensation for accepted data contributions. Users do not buy cryptocurrency, digital goods, campaign access, or app functionality.

REFERRAL PROGRAM

Contributors may invite other users through the RoboX referral program.

A direct referral may generate a reward equal to 1% of the referred user’s eligible earnings. A second-level referral may generate a reward equal to 0.2% of the sub-referred user’s eligible earnings.

Referral rewards are provided by RoboX and are not deducted from the referred contributor’s earnings.

VIDEO VERIFICATION

Submitted recordings may be checked for:

• Recording duration
• Landscape orientation
• Lighting
• Camera stability
• Hand and object visibility
• Task relevance
• Recording quality

Rejected recordings can be repeated after reviewing the feedback.

PRIVACY AND DATA

You control what you record and submit.

Do not record sensitive documents, private information, or people who have not agreed to be recorded.

Submitted recordings may be processed for quality verification, privacy protection, annotation, dataset preparation, and inclusion in future robotics and machine-learning datasets.

RoboX detects and blurs faces and vehicle license plates as part of its privacy-processing workflow.
