Time Zone Spoofer Firefox

Time Zone Spoofer

Basic plugin to allow spoofing browser time zone per site.

Features & Capabilities

I use this for Infoplus since I'm a remote worker and the warehouse is in a different time zone - the site uses my time zone to describe when an event took place, whereas I want the time zone the warehouse is in. I felt like this was missing from the available Add-Ons, as back when I used Chrome I was able to find one that did what I needed and apply it to that website only. So I used my programming knowledge and ChatGPT and built one for myself. Maybe other people will find it useful as well.

Is Time Zone Spoofer Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Time Zone Spoofer requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.
