WasteBuster - Hamilton

An app to find circular solutions for waste in Hamilton, Ontario. A circular solution is any type of waste disposal method that involves reusing, repairing, refurbishing, or recycling items, preventing them from going into landfills. After searching up an item it leads the user to any institution that would resell, repair or recycle that specific item or type of items. Also provides connections to different environmental organizations to improve the environment and offers ideas for DIY at-home redesigning of unused or damaged items. Originally developed by a team of youth in York Region, this app is the Hamilton version to make circular solutions more accessible to the residents of Hamilton.
