2026-08-04	st*****	normally I'd give this game 5 out of 5 stars but progression past location 4 becomes mostly impossible and isn't a game that you can play quickly unless you want to get one tapped (berserker hp mechanic is the only way I've found to get past location 4) other than that it's a very good game but very limited once you discovered everything the first 4 locations have to offer, very tedious and you will die constantly

2026-07-22	Mo*****	The overall game playthrough is fairly fun and rewarding but even on normal, some of these bosses and elite enemies have some INCREDIBLY unfair abilities like being able to teleport with you, or automatically teleport you back into the group. I was marked with the INVINCIBILITY trait, still died and consumed a revive charge. How does thatwork? Played on easy, got to L5, Chaos Super Guardian gets godlike powers, can follow dash, spawn camp, like dude... not fun.

2026-07-19	Br*****	First I want to preface this by saying I've been playing "tough but fair" games for a long time. From Dark Souls to Tales of Maj'eyal I've played and beaten a lot of hard games but Caves is just not balanced at all. I can't even count how many times a run ended because the first mob I encounter spawns a new add every other turn and then blinks away from me. How am I supposed to do deal with that with starting gear? 3 stars for the aesthetic and idea of gameplay though

My only issue, I suppose, is the balance between the second and third unlockable area; the boss between them took me maybe 10 minutes to beat along with all of my items and the strongest axe I've ever gotten. I recommend the game to anyone willing to put up with deaths that aren't entirely their own fault. One of the best mobile games on the platform.
