Features & Capabilities

The Browser Lock is a Chrome extension designed to prevent data loss on web forms that lack autosave functionality. It works seamlessly with platforms such as Smartsheet, Microsoft, and Google products by prompting users to confirm before leaving or refreshing a page. This alert ensures users do not accidentally lose information they have entered, especially on critical forms.

To activate, users need to interact with the page at least once (e.g., clicking anywhere). Once enabled, any attempt to close or refresh the tab triggers a confirmation alert, safeguarding your input. Ideal for users dealing with important web forms and documents, The Browser Lock adds a layer of security and peace of mind.
