Features & Capabilities

WD Pro: Recover Messages helps you recover deleted messages, photos and videos by scanning device notifications. The app saves deleted chat content, lets you download status updates, and offers hidden/anonymous (incognito) and offline chat modes. Additional features include hiding blue ticks and last seen, viewing recovered items separately, and saving recovered files locally for future access.

How it works: grant notification access and required permissions, and WD Pro monitors incoming notifications and auto-saves media and messages. You’ll be notified when someone deletes a message so you can view or restore it. Note limitations: it won’t work for muted chats, messages deleted before installation, or when notifications are turned off. WD Pro is not affiliated with third-party messaging apps and uses public notification APIs to provide recovery and status-saving features.

User Reviews

Users find the app useful for recovering deleted messages, especially voice notes and some photos, and praise it as easy to use. However, many report it does not work at all or saves no data. Common complaints include failure to recover images, videos, and chat messages, with voice notes being the main working feature. Some reviewers criticize intrusive ads and paid-version problems, including a refund request and an unresponsive developer.
