Whaaack! Android

Whaaack!

Fruit pops, you whack it. Three escapes end the run. How long can you last?

Overview

Features & Capabilities

Fruit pops out of the orchard. You whack it before it ducks back down. That is the whole game, and you will still be chasing your best time an hour later.

HOW IT PLAYS

Sixteen tiles, and fruit coming up on them one after another. Each one gives you a moment, and only a moment. Catch it and it bursts into a splat. Let it slip back down and you take a strike. Three strikes and the run is over.

Your score is simply how long you lasted. No combos, no multipliers, no points to add up. Just the clock, climbing for as long as you keep the orchard under control.

IT KEEPS GETTING FASTER

Every four seconds the orchard shifts up a gear. Fruit arrives quicker and stays up for less time. Then a third fruit joins the two you started with, and later a fourth, and it keeps adding more until the whole board is moving at once.

Nobody survives that. The fun is finding out how far you get first, and it lands somewhere different every time you pick it up.

BRING BOTH THUMBS

By the time the fourth fruit shows up you will want them, and the game is built for it. Both touches count, not just the first. A tap that lands a little off still finds the tile you meant, so nothing gets swallowed by the gaps between squares.

CLIMB THE BOARDS

Play for fun and your best time stays on your phone, no account required. Sign in and your runs go up against everyone else on the all time leaderboard, plus a weekly one that starts fresh every Monday. Miss your shot at the top this week and there is always next week.

FAIR WHEN IT COUNTS

A phone call will not cost you a run. The clock stops when you leave, and you come back to a short countdown rather than a fruit that is already halfway gone. One slip will not snowball into three, either. Every escape buys you a beat to recover before the next one can land.

TWELVE FRUITS, ONE ORCHARD

Apples, bananas, cherries, grapes, kiwis, lemons, oranges, peaches, pears, pineapples, strawberries and watermelons, all drawn in chunky pixel art, all bursting in their own colours when you catch them. The orchard drifts along behind the board while you play. If you would rather it held still, switch it off, along with the sound, the music or the buzz.

FREE TO PLAY

Whaaack! is free. Ads play between runs, and if you would rather never see another one there is a single purchase that clears them for good. One payment, no subscription, and it follows your Google account to a new phone or a reinstall.

Ready? The first fruit is already on its way up.
