Features & Capabilities

"ECG Axis Trainer" is an interactive app designed to help users estimate the angle of the heart's electrical axis through random ECG readings. Users receive three attempts to guess the angle within a 10-degree range, with an option to reveal the answer after unsuccessful tries. This fun and educational tool serves as a refreshing practice for medical students, nurses, and anyone interested in learning more about ECG and geometry. User Reviews

This is the best app out there for cementing (not learning ) axis deviation in ecg. While you can just Google left or right axis deviation ecg , it's inconvenient as it doesn't test you. This app generates random ecgs that helps you keep challenging yourself. It helped me learn how to cement my idea about calculating the axis very quickly. But I must say this - it helps to find out the axis angle BUT doesn't say if it is left or right deviation. For that you'll have to draw / have a picture in your mind of the hexaxial lead diagram. And then based on the angle you calculated say it. (If you got angle more than +90 then it is right axis deviation, if it was between -30 to +90 it is normal and if angle calculated was less than -30 it is left axis deviation) First of all you must read how to calculate . This app only cements your knowledge (i.e. train you to be fast in axis assessment ) . It doesn't teach you. So learn from a teacher/friend/ book/ YouTube video. Then test yourself here. It took me ages to get an idea of how to approach the axis calculation. After that I used this app to train myself to be faster. So it helps with that . Each randomly generated ecg has solutions also . So you guys can check it if you don't find the answer at first. Highly recommend for beginners
