At the heart of the journey is a golden scarab that rolls through intricate stone chambers, collects glowing gems, and searches for the exit from increasingly difficult situations. Every move requires careful calculation, as a single tilt sends the talisman moving until it reaches the nearest obstacle. Logic is essential: players must plan each direction in advance, keep track of the number of tilts, navigate around walls, and discover the shortest route to the goal in order to earn the highest rating for every chamber.

The adventure extends beyond guiding the scarab across stone tiles. Successfully clearing chambers rewards players with coins that can be used to unlock new appearances for the talisman, ranging from its classic golden form to scarabs inspired by obsidian, lapis lazuli, emerald, ivory, and ruby.
