Delete Contacts is a lightweight Android utility for removing selected entries from your Address Book. Use it to clean up incorrect imports or remove unwanted records quickly and safely. The app lists removable contacts so you can pick exactly which entries to delete.

Important: Always back up your Address Book before using this tool. Contacts stored on the SIM card (SIM/ICC/ADN) cannot be deleted due to Android restrictions and appear as not selectable. If a non-SIM contact isn’t removed, send the exact text shown on the contact’s second line (the bracketed badge + account info) so we can identify the account type and improve compatibility.

Recent reviews

I experienced duplicate contacts, introduced perhaps from a sync error or software upgrade bug in my Motorola G 5g 2023 phone. I previously removed my sync for google contact sync, as well as my hosted Microsoft Exchange. Read-only contacts kept reappearing after clearing android contact app (Motorola). This app found and allowed me to remove read-only contacts, clearing mysterious cached contacts.
