If you have many tabs open, and need to switch back and forth between two or more of them, you can click through them once, and then use Ctrl+Shift+K and Ctrl+Shift+L to move back and forth through your tab click history. Ctrl+Shift+X clears history

Tab Click Order

Firefox extension that adds a keyboard shortcut to switch back and forth between tabs in order they were clicked or activated. This extension is a fork of https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/most-recent-tab/. Useful to alternate between two or more tabs and to easy go back if you switch to another briefly.

Do what you say... easy switching in onsultation (view) order. Great if you use an addon to open new tabs next to actual (and have a long trip). But the shortcut (cmd+arrows) is the same as text selection... It is a little bad idea when you have a text to edit. Maybe a Shortcut option should be great !

I meant for example when you click the button of the addon it shows a menu displaying the most recently selected tabs and when you click on one of those tabs it will switch to that tab. That way for example if you wanna go 5 tabs back you can do it faster. If the WE doesn't allow you to do that maybe it could be done when right clicking on the page and add to that menu an item that says tab click order and inside that the recent tab list? Would be nice to be able to have on the menu up to 20 tabs or something like that (maybe make the number configurable).
