VieSicure

The aim of VieSicure is to increase perceived security in the city, helping people to visualize the areas actually under video surveillance within a radius of 500 meters around them, suggesting ideal routes that cross as many monitored areas as possible. The user always has the possibility to choose the route he deems safest.

Use the "Look at me!" function. if you have to meet an ex, or a person you don't know, to highlight the video surveillance area you are in in the Control room.

VieSicure users can also anonymously report the areas of the city that they consider unusable, choosing a reason from those suggested by the app. The data collected is anonymous and is used to create statistics on areas perceived as unsafe, offering local administrators valuable information to plan improvement interventions that respond to the real safety needs of citizens.

The App is unique for all Municipalities that wish to provide this opportunity to their inhabitants or tourists, as it is not bound to a single territory.

VieSicure, by giving feedback and visibility to the Urban Security interventions carried out by local administrators, encourages families and citizens to frequent more the areas that have benefited from the installation of video surveillance and, consequently, increases commercial opportunities for shopkeepers in the area. With the implementation of VieSicure, a video surveillance system that has become visible and therefore reassuring, it will facilitate peaceful walks even in areas previously considered risky, leading to a true and effective redevelopment of urban areas, improving the liveability and attractiveness of streets and areas monitored by cameras.
