"Kong Tâi-gí" is a speech-to-text app designed specifically for Taiwanese.

【Core Functions】
• Taiwanese, Mandarin, and Taigi/Mandarin code-switching speech recognition

• Outputs Chinese characters (not Tai-Roman spelling)

• Employs MediaTek Research's Breeze-ASR-26 model, specifically trained for Taigi

【Online Recognition, High Accuracy】 Uses the Breeze-ASR-26 model online; trained for spoken scenarios using Taiwanese, Mandarin, and mixed languages, suitable for transcription needs in meetings, interviews, and everyday conversations with elders at home.

【Offline Recognition, Works Without Internet】 The whisper.cpp model can be downloaded to your device, a reliable option for private situations or when the network is unstable.

The first time, a model file needs to be downloaded (approximately 100 MB to 1.6 GB depending on quality and size),

Afterwards, recognition is performed entirely locally on your device, recording never leaves your device.

Offline identification requirements:

• Sufficient available storage space on the device (at least 2 GB recommended)

• ARM64 processor (most recent Android/iPhone models)

• Web platform not supported (browser lacks native runtime)

【Local History Retention】 All identification results are stored locally on the device in SQLite; they are not synced to the cloud or transferred to third parties.
