Stream Finder is a lightweight, privacy-focused browser extension that turns your browser toolbar into a fast search interface for any streaming content catalog website you choose to configure.

FEATURES

Instant search — Type a movie or TV series title, see results with posters, year, and rating as you type.
Multilingual — Interface and results in English, Italian, German, Spanish, and French.
Desktop notifications — Optional notifications when new movies, series, or episodes are added to your configured catalog.
"What's New" panel — Click the bell icon to see recent additions, with a badge on the toolbar icon showing the unseen count.
Quick links — One-click access to different sections of your configured website.
Keyboard shortcut — Press Ctrl+Shift+S (Cmd+Shift+S on Mac) to open the search popup instantly.
Omnibox integration — Type "stream" in the URL bar, press Tab, then type your query for live suggestions.
Settings — Change the configured website URL or language at any time.

HOW IT WORKS

On first run, Stream Finder asks you to enter the URL of a website that exposes a compatible JSON search API. You will be asked to grant access permission for the specific URL you configure. No other websites are accessed.
