This addon adds startpage(dot)com as the default search engine. It is a stripped down version of the official addon, with fewer permissions and no addional functionality.

Note: This addon is End of Life ... especialy since you can add the search by other browser built-in mechanics. see here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-or-remove-search-engine-firefox You can remove this addon ... i'll keep it up for a bit longer until i see zero users in the statistics. ... Now shoo, go look for other cool stuff ;)

Usage:

install the add-on
CTRL+K or click into the didicated search area
Enter your search terms and hit enter

This add-on tries to use the minimal number of required permissions to successfully fullfill its intended purpose. If you think this could be improved please let me know by opening an issue and i will try to look into it.
