How the app supports better care ...

1) Respond faster, with fewer interruptions :
Live nurse call notifications are delivered instantly to mobile devices, allowing staff to respond without constantly returning to nurse stations or patient rooms. This reduces unnecessary footfall and helps teams focus on patient care.

2) Resolve patient needs at the first interaction :
Two way voice communication allows staff to speak directly to patients before attending. This makes it possible to understand the request in advance and ensure the correct response.

3) Integrates seamlessly into existing infrastructure :
The app can operate over the organisation’s existing Wi-Fi network and runs on any smart device you already use, allowing for reliable performance without additional infrastructure investment.

Calls can be reset remotely once resolved, removing the need to revisit rooms unnecessarily and allowing staff to manage their workload more effectively.

Calls can be reassigned instantly based on the patient’s actual need (only applicable for Acelo). For example, a clinical call can be redirected to catering if the request is nonclinical, helping reduce delays and avoid unnecessary escalation.

User access can be configured so staff only receive alerts relevant to their ward, role or responsibilities. Specialist teams, such as crash teams, can be alerted immediately to critical events across all wards, supporting faster emergency response.

7) Maintain visibility and accountability :
Event history is available on the device for the logged-in in user, supporting awareness of recent activity and helping teams stay informed throughout their shift. The overall event history can be used for analysing data to strengthen efficiencies.
