That of the Turin artist Gianni Moramarco can be defined as an exemplary case: he dedicated himself to the world of art considering it as an experience in continuous evolution, a never static path of conflictual improvement.
Born in 1957, Moramarco arrives at the gestation of his creations passing through professional stages in the technical field: a surveyor diploma, he continues his improvement at the University preferring architectural studies but continuing, however, to indulge his precocious interest in drawing and painting born in teenage stage.
At the age of twenty he is already known to the public for his inspiration and, later, exhibits at both national and international exhibitions: in Ferrara in 2015, in Taormina at Villa Hauser, on the occasion of the centenary of Greta Garbo, inaugurating the concept of the innovative "art" to wear "with clothes-paintings that can be superimposed on the body but also applicable to the nail with a frame.
In 2019 "La Stampa" of Turin dedicated an interesting article to Gianni Moramarco: in this way his hometown finally sees the rising star of a new way of understanding painting.
The artist is today fully immersed in the life of his time, in the cultural and social existence devoted to the technological world.

The extreme need to communicate means that he actively participates with and in his painting, entering into connection with the characters of his works, supporting the vital impulse that they express.
Thus, passing through the traditional path of canvas and acrylic, he arrives at the updated and contemporary technique of the optical pen and the graphic tablet, eyeing Canaletto's optical camera: insert the backgrounds, position the characters, create the sections, and, above all, it plays in the combination of colors taken from the infinite chromatic universe of tones and shades.
The final result is not immediate but the result of various prints and multiple tests. Each creation is a unique, energetic, original work, gradually built to pulsate with its own life.
In some cases the artist opts for the solution of multiples impressed with the Fine Art Giclèe technique, i.e. a very sophisticated inkjet print personally finished with Retouchè in acrylic or multi-material additions.
His art takes on the connotation of an eclectic fairy-tale dimension: from it emerge revelations halfway between reality and dream that draw from the stratification of the unconscious and emerge as vertiginous, almost kaleidoscopic projections.
As a kind of electrocution, the revelation of a space that can go beyond the limits arrives for Moramarco, a "beyond" that breaks the walls of time, place and perspective, expanding to infinity, obtained by superimposing 3D material animations on two-dimensional figurines .
And the discovery of the three-dimensional is today what moves the artist's soul in its most sparkling certainty.

His art turns out to be irreverent, ironic, provocative and above all engaging, developed on several floors containing images embraced by museum frames with invisible anti-reflection glass, assisted by side mirrors that multiply the light and perspective by spreading a "bubble effect" expanding the illusion optics.
In Moramarco's vision, recalling the educational background, the art produced by nature gives way to architecture: spectacular backdrops, museum proscenium, metropolitan cities, luminous Gothic windows, painted trompe-l'oeil in Rococo ceilings structured with an order of never random shapes.
In the works, multiple contaminations deduced from a brilliant fantasy emerge that free the intricate paths of the imagination and open up to fragments kidnapped from comics, cinema, advertising, design and fashion.
