SQLite Reader

Easily browse, edit and manage SQLite database inside your browser!

SQLite Reader Chrome Extension

SQLite Reader is a powerful Chrome extension that allows you to browse, edit, and manage SQLite databases directly within your browser. Leveraging a compiled SQLite library from C to JavaScript using Emscripten, it enables executing SQL commands efficiently without the need for native software.

Simply drag and drop your SQLite file into the app UI, edit or create SQL queries in the provided text area, and execute them with an intuitive interface. Results render in real-time, and you can save your changes back to the database easily. While optimized for databases of reasonable size, this extension offers a convenient, user-friendly alternative to native SQLite tools. Being currently in beta, user feedback is encouraged to enhance functionality.

Extension safety

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

SQLite Reader does not require any sensitive permissions.

Risk impact analysis details

This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Browser Add-ons, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on.
