User Reviews
Pros
- Simple, direct and easy to use.
- Works as advertised and generally effective when supported.
- Lightweight extension with a visible progress/play bar.
- Spritz-like speed-reading experience.
- Customizable settings that let users tweak the reading experience.
Cons
- Reliability varies due to compatibility issues and outdated updates; some browsers/sites don't work.
- Cannot highlight or select specific text to read; reads the whole page instead.
- Cannot start reading from the middle or from selected text.
- Lacks features many users want, such as a dark theme, color options, and keybindings.
- Some sites/pages aren’t fully supported or cause issues on certain pages.
Recent reviews
Don't bother if you're using FF in dark mode. The add-on is only decently usable in bright mode or with - I guess - absolute default design setups. The project's source code also has not been touched for eight(!) years and can be considered dead.

does not work at all (probably because it hasn't been updated in almost 2 years). the ONLY thing it does it make (some) pages get all bugged out when you try to use it.
