SpeeCH IFMG

Speech has been developed with the purpose of assisting autistic children in the literacy process, development of speech and cognitive. Among children who may have disabilities to express themselves verbally are those identified in the autistic spectrum.

The speech is an application developed for Android devices and the result of an applied research developed by IFMG - Campus Ant, with financial support from IFMG and CNPq. The application makes use of technology Text to Speech (text-to-speech) and allows the user to hear and see the texts associated with images added by application administrator.

This administrator is the person responsible for inserting images and / or collections in the application (parents, educators, speech therapists, etc.), creating a personalized way the knowledge to be produced by the end user (child). The user does not have access to application settings, allowing greater safety and limiting the use of administrator settings.
