Pace Trainer is an offline practice app for reading aloud. Choose from 150 built-in passages, follow visual timing cues and explore how your delivery changes at different speaking speeds.

Optional on-device recording

You can record a take, replay it and choose whether to keep it. Microphone access is requested only when you choose to record. Recordings stay in the app's private storage on your device and can be deleted at any time.

Private and offline

Pace Trainer works without an account or internet connection. It contains no advertising, analytics or cloud upload. Practice history, preferences and recordings remain on your device.

Words-per-minute figures are timing estimates based on passage length and reading time. Pace Trainer does not analyse your voice or assess pronunciation, fluency or speech quality. It is a practice tool, not a medical, diagnostic or speech-therapy service.
