The Space Impactor+

A side-scrolling shoot 'em up with a monochrome retro aesthetic. Face waves, dodge projectiles, defeat bosses with unique patterns, and upgrade your ship while competing for the best score.

Game Modes
• Classic: Advance through levels in increasing waves.
• Boss Rush: Direct action against chained bosses.

Key Mechanics
• Tap-fire (no autofire): Fire rate increases with your taps.
• Panic bomb with a shockwave and visible cooldown bar.
• Difficulty selector (Easy/Normal/Hard) that adjusts fire rate and cooldowns.
• Ship upgrades when collecting orbs: increased fire rate, spread, and power.
• Bosses with pan/tilt lasers, guided missiles, and mines.

Controls and HUD
• Lower touch controls: D-pad, FIRE, and BOMB.
• Expanded upper HUD with score, lives, bombs, level, high score, and the boss's laser meter (icon/blinking at 100%).
• Bomb cooldown indicator and bomb counter always visible.

Style and Options
• Retro skins: Classic Green, Amber, Ice, and Phosphor (with CRT dots).
• Optional Scanlines and no-scanline mode.
